Dahab(دهب) is a small town situated on the south-east coast of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. Formerly a Bedouin fishing village, located approximately 80km (50 miles) north-east of Sharm el-Sheikh, Dahab is considered to be one of the Sinai's most treasured diving destinations.
Dahab enjoys large numbers of tourists. It is world-renowned for its windsurfing. Reliable winds provide superb flat-water conditions inside Dahab's sand spit. Further away from shore, wavy conditions couple with strong winds to provide formidable conditions for keen windsurfers. SCUBA diving and snorkelling are also popular activities with many reefs immediately adjacent to waterfront hotels. The nearby Blue Hole and Canyon are internationally famous diving spots. Land based activities include camel, horse, jeep and quad bike trips. Mount Sinai is a two-hours drive, with Saint Catherine's Monastery being a popular tourist destination.
With its pleasant all-year weather , Dahab has gained worldwide fame. The weather is hot in summer and cold during winter especially at nights. And since Dahab is close to Sinai's Hight Mountain Region, the city may even experience hail, frost and snow.

Coralia Club Dahab (caterory **-****): Clean, comfortable double room with terrace. Swimming pool. Restaurant (buffet). Very friendly bar located directly on the beach (popular for its sunshine).
Best hotel regarding the wind condition. The Surf&Action Harry Nass centre (look at Windsurfing equipment ) has about 350 boards and 400 sails-booms. Best place for beginners.
Other activities in Dahab : snorklinging, scuba diving, quad, trip to the monastery of Sainte-Catherine (Mont-Sinaï), trip to the village of Masbat.
